Hurray! It's finally fall! Out come the sweaters! And in go the tank tops to the pajamas drawer!
So, does soup sound like fun today? It sure does to me: what sounds good?
Things I'm currently contemplating:
- venison chili
- venison stew
- chicken & dumplings
- cheese enchilada
I know, there are lots of other kinds of soup in the world - this is just the list of things I could make with a minimum amount of hassle. Is 7:00 too late to start? And does this sound like fun? (Let me know if you need me to pick you up from the airport - I'm guessing that's the best way to come if you're arriving from Penang, Boulder, Minneapolis, or Raleigh.)
Also - would someone be able to pick me up from Fleet Farm sometime before 7? I'm dropping off my car to get brand-spanking-new tires put on (WOO HOO!), and will also hope for the same or another kind soul to take me back there a little before 9 to pick it up.
Ha: think I'll try the poll idea again, just because I'm a geek AND a kid who gets excited about silly things.

My plane leaves in a couple of hours, so I abstained from the soup vote. This cold weather is unacceptable, so I'm headed south. Hope everyone has a great remainder of the week.

Cool! Maybe I should know this but I'm drawing a blank on where you're headed - are you going to Florida??? Just don't go to Raleigh, Minneapolis, Boulder, or Penang. Bad things happen to people who go to those places.
Whatever you do, and where-ever it is, have a blast and miss us lots!!
Soup sounds great to me. Any of the above. I can give a ride to and from Fleet Farm as well. Just tell me what time to pick you up, drill in tow.

Ray and I will be there. I don't eat soup, but I'm sure Ray would love some. Any chance you'll have hot chocolate mix lying around? Should I bring some milk?
